Who makes your products?

Every doll is designed, hand-painted, and created from start to finish by Jen herself (although her six year old son Brandon likes to help with packaging!)  Most of the wooden pieces Jen paints are turned in nearby Maine, but she has also collaborated with a few other US-based mama-run small businesses for exclusive specialty shapes such as menorah bases, jumbo dolls, and various unique shapes for custom pet dolls and other creations. 

Do you take custom orders?

Yes! Most of what we do is custom! All of our custom portrait dolls are created based on your special details and we are happy to customize dolls that are painted to order! You are also not limited by the designs you see on this website -- we also love collaborating with our customers on new designs. Contact us to discuss your vision!  

How do I place a custom order?

In the case of custom portrait dolls, you will place an order on this website and then send photos and other details for your dolls to jensprettypegs@gmail.com. You do not have to finalize your details at the time your order is placed. We can also come up with a new design together. Will I have a chance to see my custom dolls before they are shipped?

In most cases, yes! We usually attempt to send progress pictures of custom dolls so you can follow along with their creation and have an option to make minor adjustments to ensure your dolls are perfect before they are sealed and sent out. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us and we know how much the tiniest details matter. 

When will I receive my purchase?

Turnaround time varies based on Jen's queue and the type of doll ordered. Non-custom dolls may occasionally be in stock and ready to ship, or may need to be painted to order. While this website will give a projected timeframe, it's often on the later side as we prefer to underpromise and overdeliver! You will get more accurate timing estimates by contacting us. 

If you have a time-sensitive order, please contact us as we can often (but not always) accommodate rush requests with sufficient notice.  However, while we can guarantee your dolls will be shipped by a certain date (if needed), we are not able to control and are not responsible for the time it takes for USPS to deliver your package once shipped. 

Will my dolls look exactly like the dolls pictured in the listing photo?

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, your dolls will be painted to order and you will not be receiving the exact dolls pictured. Because of the nature of handmade products, there will be slight variations from doll to doll.  These variations are part of the beauty of hand-made and hand-painted items, in comparison with those mass-produced by machines.

Do you ship internationally? 

Yes! We have shipped all over the world and love our international customers.

What is your return policy?

Can you ship my gift directly to the recipient? 

Yes! Please include their name and address in the shipping field, and leave any instructions in the notes at checkout. If you would like us to include a short handwritten note in the package, please put what you would like us to write in quotes (and be sure to include who it's being sent from!). We do not include receipts or pricing in any of our packages. 

Do you collaborate with social media influencers, bloggers or other makers?

We approach this on a case by case basis. Please reach out if you are interested!
